The way I sing in ‘Milestone’ is like telling my story, and not trying too hard to convey or decorate the song. The message in the song is about ‘self-till-now’ and ‘self-from-now’. Yes, there is confusion and worries, but I think that’s natural. Every time seasons change, it might be hard to get up and do something, but don’t be afraid. Let’s try. That’s what the lyrics are about. I can put feelings into the song without having to tell myself to do so.

No wonder the first time I heard the song, it was almost automatic that tears appeared at the corner of my eyes……….. This song is LOVE.

Q: What advice did BoA give you about Japan?
Tiffany: She told us, “I’ve done this for ten years already; it’s your turn now. I was alone, but you all have eachother, so you’ll never have to worry.”

Happy 11th Anniversary BoA!

Can you even believe it’s been this long? Your fans certainly can’t! It honestly seems like just yesterday when you finally made your comeback after a 5 year absence in South Korea, back when we were celebrating your 10th anniversary. Throughout these 11 years, you’ve met with so many challenges and disadvantages, but you’ve overcome them all to the best of your ability with adversity. Over 8 million albums sold worldwide? You did it. Mastering the Japanese language to prepare for a debut in Japan not even 6 months after your Korean one? You did it. Overcoming criticism you faced in the beginning of your career for being too young? You did it.

But aside from all these accomplishments, you more than anyone in this industry should know that you’re never really alone, right? As your fans, we’ve watched you gradually flourish from a 13 year old child unaware of the trials and tribulations of the entertainment industry, to a 24 year old woman with over a decade of experience behind her. We’ve laughed, cried, shared your ups and downs; all with you. At the end of the day, it’s just as you said in your most notable song:
